How Pinmark works · one typical week

What running Pinmark feels like week to week.

Pinmark is a quiet agent: it scans your four directories every few hours, drafts the week's replies and posts on Tuesday, ships what you approved on Wednesday, and emails the Monday visibility report before you open the kitchen. This page walks you through a real week — the same loop every one of the 12 active neighbourhoods runs.

The dashboard your operator sees

Four tabs, one product — same Merilee's Bakery here.

Your operator clicks through Score → This week → Last 90 days → Action history from a single page. The agent sits behind all four — what you're previewing is the dashboard view they actually use on Monday morning.

One real week

The same loop every Monday to Sunday.

Six days, six actions, one operator. Each row tells the operator WHAT the agent did that day and why it mattered for the week ahead. The total time you spend clicking through the dashboard is about 12 minutes a week.

  1. Scan

    Monday

    Sep 9 · 6:48 AM

Pinmark reads your four directories overnight.

A 14-minute sweep. Yields a clean baseline (Visibility score 78, +9 last week) and three small drifts to fix before lunch service — one stale hour, one phone typo, one Apple Maps NAP suffix.

  2. Drafts

    Tuesday

    Sep 10 · 10:02 AM

Reply drafts and week’s posts land in the dashboard.

One 1-star Yelp reply from yesterday evening, three pending 5-stars across Google + Apple Maps, the Sunday brunch post on Facebook. All drafted in your restaurant’s voice, none posted yet — they wait for your "approve" tap.

  3. Approve

    Wednesday

    Sep 11 · 7:14 AM

You read 4 drafts over coffee, tap approve.

Average time-on-task, 90 seconds. Pinmark earns the trust by drafting in your tone vector and never posting without sign-off — you keep one-tap rollback on every reply, even after auto-post is turned on later.

  4. Post

    Friday

    Sep 13 · 8:02 AM

Sunday brunch post ships, Apple Maps cleans 412 Haywood Rd → 412 Haywood Road.

Two automated ship-out times: the Sunday brunch post at 8am, the Apple Maps NAP-clean at 1:42pm. Both are queued, monitored for failure. If anything bounces, you hear about it inside 11 minutes.

  5. Alert

    Sunday

    Sep 15 · 11:00 PM

A new 1-star lands at 11:00 PM — alert in your inbox in 7 minutes.

The Yelp 1-star “brunch service felt rushed” reaches you before the next service shift. The auto-draft is queued: an apologetic, handback-fixing reply in your voice. Approve in 30 seconds at midnight; it goes up while it’s still warm.

  6. Report

    Monday

    Sep 16 · 6:30 AM

The visibility report arrives in your inbox.

Search phrases ranked by the calls they drove, weekday totals, channel mix, three recommendations. One page. 90 seconds of reading before you open the kitchen on a Monday.

And the drift, visibly closed

Same listing, four channels — what Pinmark actually changed.

The page above tells WHEN. This is the BEFORE/AFTER that justifies the price: the four fields that drifted, pulled back into a clean canonical record in under a day.

Who it's for · and who it isn't

One independent restaurant. Nothing else.

Pinmark is opinionated about the customer. Five places are great fits; three are firmly not. We'd rather disqualify you up front than write a 1-year contract you regret two months in.

Pinmark is for

  • A family-run trattoria that opens 6 days and closes Sunday
  • A counter-only ramen bar where the chef takes the orders themselves
  • A neighbourhood bakery that open at dawn and closes at 4pm
  • A solo-owned tasting-menu kitchen with 12 covers
  • A corner bistro where the front-of-house is also the bartender

Pinmark is not for

  • Restaurant groups or chains — Multi-location operators need a CRM, a content network, and reporting per region. Pinmark is for one location — adding a second-to-fifth seat doesn’t make the product better, just harder.
  • Marketing agencies — A reseller model would force multi-seat logins, account-manager roles, and packaging the way an agency packages every product. Pinmark is sold direct, end of story.
  • Catering operations or food halls — Multiple SKUs, no fixed storefront, weekly menus ahead of every event — the directory model Pinmark is built around doesn’t fit. We don’t pretend otherwise.
